J’s Steaks & Subs has returned to the Lehigh Valley with the soft opening of its new food truck.
The food truck announced online its limited-run soft launch menu Friday at the Weyerbacher Brewing Co. taproom at 905 Line St. in Easton — “come be among the first to try it before our official grand opening!”
Footage from the online announcement shows menu options such as cheesesteaks, cold subs, fries, onion rings, pierogi and chicken tenders.
The soft opening hours are noon to 8 p.m. Thursday and noon to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The food truck follows the closure of J’s Northampton in May, the chain’s only location at the time.
It is unclear how long the soft opening period will last. Neither the food truck nor Ed Lozano, who owns the truck and Weyerbacher, could immediately be reached for comment Friday.
