READING, Pa. – Preparations are underway for this weekend’s Duryea Hillclimb in Reading, and organizers spent the day before the race getting the area ready.
The event will take place all weekend, with races occurring on both Saturday and Sunday.
The race will start near City Park; racers will travel up the hill onto Skyline Drive and end at the William Penn Memorial Fire Tower.
This event is a bit longer than the Pagoda Hillclimb that takes place in Berks County in June.
The hillclimb starts at 9 a.m. Saturday and will continue until 4 p.m.
