Masonic Temple of Erie partners with Second Harvest to ‘sink hunger’ at CelebrateErie

The Masonic Temple of Erie is making a splash for a good cause at CelebrateErie this weekend.

The local free masons partnered with the Erie Downtown Development Corporation and the Second Harvest Food Bank for a charity dunk tank.

It’s located outside the Masonic Temple on West 8th Street.

Local leaders are helping “sink hunger,” raising money for Second Harvest, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the food bank.

“We really couldn’t do what we do without community support, you know, local groups like the masons that come together, you know to raise money, to collect food for their community, it really is a community effort,” said Gregory Hall, CEO of Second Harvest Food Bank of NWPA.

The dunk tank will wrap up along with CelebrateErie on Sunday.
