MORGANTOWN, Pa. – A report of a person entering vehicles at the Hollywood Casino in Morgantown has let to the arrest of an alleged suspect.
Just before 1 a.m. Saturday, Caernarvon Township police responded to casino staff reports of two employee vehicles gone through, with personal belongings and cash allegedly stolen from vehicles in the casino parking lot, located at 6021 Morgantown Road.
The personal belongings allegedly stolen include two wallets, $100, a gym bag and a basketball.
Officers located the suspect’s vehicle, a silver sedan, fleeing the scene. A pursuit ensued, and the vehicle eventually crashed into two properties at 3160 and 3146 Main Street.
The suspect, identified as Terrance Watson, a 33-year-old black male with medium-length dreadlocks, fled on foot but was later apprehended.
Police received a report of a suspicious person in the area of Twin Valley and Elverson Roads. Officers from Robeson and Exeter arrived and assisted with locating and taking Watson into custody.
During the investigation, it was discovered that the suspect’s vehicle had been reported stolen in Philadelphia, PA..
Watson was charged with receiving stolen property, theft, fleeing police, resisting and other related charges.
All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
