Tarentum Spray Park closed until further notice after vehicle damages electrical panel, fencing
TARENTUM, Pa. —
A spray park in Allegheny County remains closed after a vehicle crashed into and damaged its electrical panel and fencing.

Tarentum Borough officials said in a social media post Sunday the Tarentum Spray Park, located along East 1st Avenue, will be closed until further notice after a vehicle caused serious damage to the park’s electrical panel and fencing.
The park was closed at the time of the incident, and no pedestrians were injured.
It is unclear if the driver was taken to the hospital as a result of the incident.
According to the post, protective bollards prevented the vehicle from causing more damage.
Tarentum Borough officials are working to make necessary repairs and to reopen the spray park as soon as it is safe to do so.
An estimated timeline for when the park could reopen has not been announced.
