The repetitive rainy pattern comes to an end, finally. Isolated showers and a few storms south of Pittsburgh are possible this afternoon. Another round of showers will arrive Wednesday afternoon. Flooding concerns are minimal this week.
Isolated showers, storms south this afternoon
Western Pennsylvania is waking up to wet roads and puddles after overnight pockets of heavy rain. Visibility could be impacted during your morning commute.
A round of isolated showers will drop through the area start around lunchtime. This front could also produce a rumble of thunder south of the Pittsburgh. The soupy air will be whisked away with the front.
More showers Wednesday afternoon
Another quick system dips through the area Wednesday afternoon with spotty showers and possible thunderstorms. We are not expecting copious amounts of rain or extensive flooding threats.
