LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Drivers traveling on Interstate 81 should expect lane restrictions Tuesday as crews conduct bridge inspections in Lackawanna County.
Restrictions are scheduled for both northbound and southbound I-81 between the Clarks Summit exit, Exit 194, and the Scott exit, Exit 199.
The work is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Drivers traveling through the area should allow additional time and be prepared for changing traffic patterns.
Motorists are being reminded to follow posted speed limits, turn on their headlights, watch for signs and workers and avoid distractions while traveling through the work zone.
In areas where traffic backs up, drivers are encouraged to use both available lanes until reaching the merge point before taking turns entering the open lane.
