Spooky season is just around the corner, and to help you stock up on Halloween costumes, decor and other essentials, a popular retailer is opening several pop-up locations throughout the region.

Spirit Halloween, the largest Halloween retailer in North America with over 1,500 seasonal locations, is opening more than a dozen locations in Lehigh, Northampton, Berks, Schuylkill, Bucks, Montgomery and Monroe counties.

Some locations have already opened, while others are opening soon. Here is a rundown:

Celebrating more than four decades of business, Spirit Halloween has cemented its position as “the premier destination for all things Halloween,” according to a message on the business’ website.

Known to many as an exciting and interactive event for shoppers, Spirit stores offer a wide array of costumes and accessories for infants/toddlers, children, teens and adults, along with exclusive animatronics and décor.

“Since 1983 Spirit Halloween has offered a one-of-a-kind experience that remains unmatched in the industry,” the online message continues.

“Stores begin to open as early as July, marking the highly anticipated start of the Halloween season.”

Spirit Halloween, which also operates a year-round online store, created its philanthropic arm, Spirit of Children, in 2006, starting with 11 partner hospitals across the country.

The company’s belief that the celebration and community around Halloween could bring joy and benefit a child’s health worked magic.

Since its inception, the nonprofit has raised more than $93 million for over 150 partner hospitals, with 100 percent of all donations going directly to its partners’ Child Life Departments.
