L. SAUCON TWP., Pa. – One person was injured after a tractor trailer hit a tree on I-78 in Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County Monday morning.
County dispatchers said the tractor trailer going eastbound on I-78 ran off the road and hit a tree at mile marker 69.7 shortly before 10:30 a.m.

The person was brought to the hospital, according to dispatchers. The severity of the person’s injuries is not known.
One lane of travel was closed, dispatchers said.
