HANOVER TWP., Pa. – One person is dead following a crash involving a tractor-trailer on Airport Road in Hanover Township Monday morning, according to Lehigh County Coroner Dan Buglio.
At approximately 11:39 a.m., while on routine patrol, a Trooper came upon a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Airport Road and Race Street, according to a news release from Pennsylvania State Police.
The release says after further investigation, it was determined a 2004 Subaru Forester, operated by a 21-year-old woman from Bath, a 2021 Freightliner Cascadia, operated by a 42-year-old man from Nazareth and a 2025 Ford Explorer, operated by a 63-yearold man from Pottsville, crashed at the intersection.
Police say the 21-year-old woman was transported from the scene to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg, where she was pronounced deceased. The cause of death is multiple traumatic injuries, and the manner of death is accident, according to Buglio.

During this crash investigation, all traffic was detoured at Airport Road and Grove Road and Airport Road and Schoenersville Road. The scene was cleared at 2:30 p.m., according to PSP.
This crash remains under investigation.
