ALLENTOWN, Pa. – One person is dead after a motorcycle and moped collided in Allentown on Monday afternoon, according to Lehigh County Coroner Dan Buglio.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of 25th and Hamilton Streets. Initial reports indicate the two vehicles struck each other, causing one of them to hit a tree.
Multiple EMS units responded to the scene, and officials say CPR was administered on at least one of the victims. An 18-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators have not yet said what led to the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
