BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Musikfest may have ended, but the music lineup at SteelStacks continues through the end of the summer with the launch of CountryFest.
ArtsQuest has announced the inaugural year of CountryFest, a two-day celebration of country music and culture at the ArtsQuest Campus at SteelStacks.
The event will take place from August 21-22, says ArtsQuest.
This event is being launched following a breakout year at Musikfest 2025, where country stars including Megan Moroney, Riley Green, Darius Rucker and Jordan Davis all sold out the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza, says the organization.
ArtsQuest says it saw firsthand the demand for live country music in the region and decided to launch its new two-day festival for country music fans.
The organization says this event is designed to capture the spirit and community that define the genre of country.
CountryFest will feature a mix of nationally touring acts, rising artists and local favorites, alongside tribute performances, line dances, food and immersive experiences that go beyond the stage.
The free festival will feature artists including Clayton Mullen, Luke Borchelt and Peytan Porter, along with tributes to Kenny Chesney and Lainey Wilson, says ArtsQuest.
Beyond the music, guests can indulge in several food options, including BBQ favorites from Red Cedar Grill, delicious bacon from Bacon on a Stick, and ice cream from Batch Micro-Creamery.
Visitors can take part in interactive activities throughout the weekend, including axe throwing.
The organization also says the festival will feature local artisans and crafters offering unique handmade goods, country-inspired pieces, and one-of-a-kind finds that celebrate the creativity of the region.
ArtsQuest says whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just looking to have fun, line dancing lessons and crowd-friendly entertainment are sure to keep the energy high throughout the weekend.
More information about the event can be found on the ArtsQuest website.
