Performance Music at The University of Scranton will host numerous concerts and recitals during the 2026-27 academic year, beginning Friday, Sept. 18.
The concerts are open to the public and free of charge. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. Shows begin at 7:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted (e.g., Noel Night), and take place in the Houlihan-McLean Center at Mulberry Street and Jefferson Avenue, downtown Scranton.

Wednesday, Oct. 7, 7:30 p.m. General recital, featuring University of Scranton Performance Music student musicians in solo, duo, trio and small ensemble performances
Friday, Oct. 30, 7:30 p.m. In Recital: Saints & Spirituals, featuring Marcus Printup, trumpet, and Riza Printup, harp
Saturday, Nov. 7, 7:30 p.m. In Concert: The University of Scranton Jazz Band with guest artist Victor Goines, woodwinds (Visit scranton.edu/schemelforum for info on Goines’ luncheon lecture on Friday, Nov. 6.)

Friday, Dec. 11, 7:30 p.m. Empty Stocking Benefit Concert: Holidays Around the World, featuring Llewellyn Sánchez-Werner, piano. (Admission “charge” is one new unwrapped toy or piece of child’s clothing, or a cash donation. All proceeds will directly benefit local families in need.)
