BUFFALO, N.Y. — Erie County Clerk Michael Kearns says that DMV services are now back in service after a statewide outage.

Kearns said that as of Tuesday morning, all Erie County Auto Bureau locations are back up and running. Systems were reportedly down across New York State Monday.

According to Kearns, if your appointment was disrupted, the DMV will honor the appointment until August 22 to complete your appointment. You must bring proof of your original appointment, such as a text reminder or mail with information on your original appointment.

📣 UPDATE: The @nysdmv system is fully operational statewide!

All Erie County Auto Bureau branches are fully operational and processing DMV transactions.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during the interruption- Thank you! 1/2#DMV #ServiceYouDeserve pic.twitter.com/QNdKn3gFCi
