WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – A premier car wash company with more than 550 locations nationwide and North America’s largest car wash subscription program is now making vehicles shine in Lehigh County.
The first Lehigh Valley location of Mister Car Wash, “committed to offering you a clean, dry, and shiny car every time” by using its proprietary Unity Chemistry system, opened on Tuesday, Aug. 18, in the Whitehall Square shopping center at 2160 MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township, assistant general manager Tijenna Gordon told 69 News.

The new car wash, featuring a high-tech wash tunnel and more than a dozen self-serve vacuums, is located in the Whitehall Square shopping center.
The car wash hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Headquartered in Tucson, Arizona, Mister Car Wash, Inc. operates over 550 locations across the country, including a few other regional locations in Berks and Lancaster counties.
Mister Car Wash, founded in Houston, Texas in 1969, is rooted in “delivering quality service, fostering friendliness, and demonstrating a genuine commitment to the communities it serves while prioritizing responsible environmental practices and resource management,” according to a company description.
The business utilizes a variety of proprietary products and advanced technology.

“Through continuous research and development, Mister Car Wash has formulated a balanced wash process that factors in conveyor length, line speed, water quality, mechanical equipment, ambient temperature and soil conditions,” an online message reads.
“Our Unity Chemistry system, a proprietary, color-coded chemical blending system, allows us to customize our chemical blend at the store level and adjust for factors such as length of the tunnel, equipment type, water quality and unique environmental conditions such as pollen, bugs and salt,” the message adds.
“The program helps save costs for each car wash location as chemicals can be mixed on an as-needed basis and adapted for the specific characteristics of the locations based on seasonal weather patterns and local environmental conditions,” it says.

Signature products, designed to make your car wash experience “better for your car and the environment,” include the HotShine Carnauba Wax (industry-leading application to immerse your car in a rich blanket of Carnauba Wax for “unmatched protection and shine”), Platinum Repel Shield (fends off water and safeguards against dirt, bugs and grime, while adding a layer to protect your car’s surface), Wheel Polish (revolutionary technology gives a targeted cleaning treatment and protects against future brake dust build-up) and Titanium 360 (360 degree Titanium Dioxide amplifies shine and protects underbody).
Customers can opt to join Mister Car Wash’s Unlimited Wash Club, featuring unlimited washes at any Mister location nationwide, priority member lanes, convenient monthly billing and no long-term contracts.
Club memberships include Base, Platinum and Titanium, with the latter featuring Titanium 360 Underbody Defense, HotShine Carnauba Wax, Platinum Repel Shield, Tire Shine, Wheel Polish and Underbody Rinse.

One-time washes start at $10, while Unlimited Wash Club memberships start at $24.99 per month.
A grand opening Unlimited Wash Club special, offered through the end of October, features unlimited car washes for $9.99 for your first month, Gordon said.
In Whitehall Square, Mister Car Wash joins a diverse mix of tenants, including other popular chains such as Gabe’s, Redner’s, Dollar Tree, PetSmart and Ross Dress for Less.
A location of dd’s DISCOUNTS is slated to open on Sept. 25 at 2180 MacArthur Road in space that previously housed a Staples location.
A location of dd’s Discounts is coming soon to the Whitehall Square on MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township.

Additionally, a location of KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot, a “unique, hands-on all-you-can-eat dining experience that merges traditional Asian hot pot with Korean BBQ flavors,” opened in January 2025, and the first Pennsylvania location of Pickleball Kingdom, a popular indoor pickleball facility franchise, opened in November.
