Erie Insurance Awards Over $2 Million to Support Student Programs

As students prepare to return to classrooms for the new school year, Erie Insurance is investing more than $2 million in educational opportunities for young people across the region.

The company announced the funding during a press conference Thursday, revealing that grants will be distributed to 30 nonprofit organizations that serve students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.

The funding is designed to expand learning opportunities beyond the traditional classroom, supporting programs that focus on financial literacy, career readiness, arts and culture, and other educational enrichment initiatives.

Officials said the grants will help local organizations provide resources and experiences that prepare students for future success, whether through workforce development programs, hands-on learning opportunities, creative arts instruction, or life-skills education.

The investment spans a wide range of age groups, with grant recipients offering programs for children in early childhood education through high school students preparing for college and careers.

Community leaders noted that the funding comes at a critical time, just days before the start of the school year, and will help strengthen educational support systems throughout the region.

By partnering with nonprofit organizations, Erie Insurance aims to broaden access to learning opportunities and ensure students have the tools and experiences needed to succeed both in school and beyond.
