Former Vice President Mike Pence will return to Grove City College this fall as a distinguished visiting fellow with the Center for Faith & Public Life, continuing a relationship with the college that began in 2024.
Pence has played an active role on campus over the past two years, teaching political science courses focused on faith and public life, leading student seminars, mentoring students, assisting with the college’s annual Ronald Reagan Lecture, and providing leadership through the Center for Faith & Public Life.
Pence praised Grove City College for its commitment to Christian and conservative principles while offering a high-quality and affordable education.
“The stakes for America’s rising generation could not be higher,” Pence said. “Grove City College’s Christ-centered, world-class education is more important now than ever before, and I am humbled to continue to play a small role in training up future leaders who will impact our Nation in faith and the public square.”
The Center for Faith & Public Life is part of Grove City College’s Center for Faith & Freedom, a conservative think tank dedicated to promoting the principles and values that support American liberty.
Before joining Grove City College, Pence served as vice president of the United States during President Donald Trump’s first term. He also served as governor of Indiana and represented Indiana in Congress for six terms, including serving as chairman of the House Republican Study Committee.
In 2021, Pence founded Advancing American Freedom, a policy and advocacy organization focused on promoting traditional conservative principles and public policy initiatives.
College officials said Pence’s continued involvement will provide students with direct access to an experienced public servant and national political leader as they explore the intersection of faith, leadership and public service.
