LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Raging floodwaters forced drivers to vacate their vehicles after storms that hit hard in parts of the Philadelphia region and New Jersey on Monday night.

There were two reports of vehicles stuck in floodwaters in Lower Bucks County, according to the Montco/Bucks Incident Page on Facebook.

One vehicle had to be abandoned on Station Avenue in Bensalem, according to Action News 6 and the Montco/Bucks Incident Page.

A car got stuck in high water on Station Road in Bensalem, where the driver was forced to abandon their car, Action News 6 reported in detailing damage from flooding in the region.

Meanwhile, two vehicles were abandoned on Green Lane in Bristol Borough, the Montco/Bucks Incident Page reported.

Both vehicles experienced flooding under railroad underpasses, and emergency crews were on the scene to assist the drivers. No injuries were reported.

The Bristol Consolidated Fire Station said it was alerted to two vehicles stuck underneath the Green Lane Railroad Bridge.

Water rescue responded quickly, however, the drivers self-extricated before the crews arrived.
