Man arrested after multiple shots fired in Pittsburgh’s Perry South; Woman possibly grazed by bullet
ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. —
A man is in custody, and a woman was taken to the hospital after officials said they responded to a call for multiple shots fired in Pittsburgh Saturday night.
Pittsburgh police were called to the intersection of Cross and Strauss streets after 10 p.m. following two separate ShotSpotter alerts totaling six rounds.
A short time later, authorities said two women arrived at the Zone 1 police station. One of the women was said to have suffered an injury to her forehead.
The woman, police said, was believed to have been grazed by a bullet.
She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
One man was arrested in connection with the shots-fired incident. He is now being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
