Johnstown Pride returned to the area on Saturday, and this year’s event was held indoors at First Summit Arena.

The family-friendly event is billed as “The Prestige Pride of Pennsylvania” and even has a kid’s area with activities and games.

The event featured entertainment and music to suit all tastes and over 100 vendors selling merchandise.

Visitors were given swag bags with free samples, and literature.

Proclamations this year came from Governor Shapiro, Johnstown City Council and State Representative Frank Burns.

It’s the 27th year for the festival and organizers said this one is bigger than ever.

Keystone Alliance President John Debartola said, “This is the largest indoor Pride that the state of Pennsylvania has ever seen. We’ve already had thousands of people come through our doors. We’re here until 8 o’clock tonight. Without the support of Conemaugh, we wouldn’t be here.”

The sponsors said they are committed to providing compassionate, inclusive care, and creating an environment where every person feels respected, valued, and welcomed.
