Wilkins Township road to close for emergency repairs Monday
WILKINS TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A road in Wilkins Township will temporarily close for emergency repairs starting Monday as crews work to clear storm debris that has backed up against the bridge deck, along with other maintenance.

PennDOT announced Thompson Run Road between Rodi Road/Larimer Avenue and Northern Pike will close for debris removal, along with patching work.
The closure will begin Monday, Aug. 24 at 7 a.m. and continue round-the-clock through Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Officials said the road is expected to reopen at 2 p.m.
“Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use caution in the area,” officials said.
A detour route to navigate the closure is as follows:
If traveling South:
Head south on Thompson Run Rd Right on Rodi Rd Ramp to Eastbound William Penn Hwy/Business 22 Left on Northern Pike Left back onto Thompson Run Rd.
If traveling North:
Follow the same detour steps in reverse.
