Someone Struck By Lightning at Erie County Fair

There are reports of someone being struck by lightning at the final day of the Erie County Fair.

WNY Incident Alerts reported that a fair goer was struck by lightning by the infield of the track. The Erie County Fair followed up with a message as well for everyone to shelter in place but has since updated the message saying that the Fair is back to regular operations.

The Erie County Fair did not comment and either of their social media posts on lightning striking anyone.

It was a great year for the Fair and Western New York packed the Fairgrounds for the 12 Best Days of Summer once again.
