Exeter Township Junior High School presents “Mean Girls Jr.” on Nov. 14 and 15.

Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics — a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming-but-ruthless Regina George.

Adapted from Tina Fey’s 2004 blockbuster film and the Broadway smash hit, “Mean Girls Jr.” is packed with keen wit, an undeniably catchy score, and a sincere message for everyone.

Starring Wednesday Merwin as Cady, Harper Kozuch as Regina, Rylan Seiler as Damina, Maddie Mell as Janis, Lily McCord as Gretchen, Annika Wilson as Karen, Zach Werner as Aaron, as well as an ensemble cast, “Mean Girls Jr.” will play at Exeter Township Junior High, 151 East 39th St., Reading, 19606, on Nov. 14 and 15 at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $8 at the door, or reserve seats online at https://exeterjhs.seatyourself.biz.
