BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Students in the Bethlehem Area School District are back in class.
For these students, the first day of school started with a walk, big smiles, and a special guest.
Students, parents, staff, and Superintendent Dr. Renato Lajara walked together Monday morning from a Southside Bethlehem neighborhood to Donegan Elementary.
The kids were excited to start the school year and enjoyed walking alongside their new superintendent.
When they arrived, the school was filled with energy and emotion, and the first day dropoff went smoothly.
