HAMBURG, N.Y. — While the ‘Best 12 Days of Summer’ are coming to a close, organizers for the Erie County Fair say they’re very pleased with how the fair ran this year.
The 186th Erie County Fair wrapped up Sunday night, with the gates of fair closing for the last time until next summer at 11 p.m. Despite the end of another fair, organizers say that this year’s fair has been great from top to bottom.
“This has been a fantastic fair, great weather obviously helps that, but just a good vibe about this year’s fair,” Erie County Agricultural Society CEO Jessica Underberg said. “A great mix of entertainment. A great mix of competition. Great mix of rides and all kinds of different things that make this the greatest fair around and a fabric of Western New York’s community and it’s been fantastic.”
Next year’s fair will run from August 11 through August 22. For more information about events, competitions and more fun that happened at this year’s fair, click here.
