Wreaths Across America has made it its mission this year to Remember the Fallen and one way they are doing that is through education and this week. You can learn about the mission right in your own hometown.
The Wreaths Across America’s Mobile Education Exhibit is a 48-foot traveling museum and it’s making stops all across the U.S. It’s in Pennsylvania right now.
Inside, you will hear the stories of those who have served and sacrificed and it’s a way to honor our local veterans.
Admission is free for all visitors.
On Thursday and Friday, the exhibit will be at the Mission BBQ in Whitehall Township.
On Saturday, it will be the Nam Knights Vet Fest in Northampton. Appropriate since organizers say the unit also serves as a “welcome home” location for our Vietnam veterans.
Monday you can catch the exhibit at St. Luke’s West End Medical Campus in Allentown.
And then Tuesday, they’ll be at the Miller-Keystone Blood Center in Bethlehem.
While you check out the exhibit you can also sponsor a wreath for just $17.
Every year in December on National Wreaths Across America Day, volunteers lay balsam wreaths on the headstones of our American heroes.
