Capo’s in Pittsburgh’s South Side given deadline by DA to improve, protect safety of patrons
PITTSBURGH —
The owners of Capo’s on the South Side have two days to agree to new demands from the Allegheny County District Attorney to improve their safety standards.
This comes following a meeting with the DA’s Nuisance Bar Task Force on Tuesday afternoon.
District Attorney Stephen Zappala said if the demands are not agreed upon within 48 hours, officials are prepared to file a petition to close the bar.
If the owners agree, Zappala will ask the mayor’s office for approval.
Capo’s went under fire following a string of incidents at the popular bar.
