Officers were unable to locate the victim when they arrived at the scene.
Twenty minutes later, a neighboring jurisdiction told Pittsburgh police they had a man in their care who matched the victim’s description.
The adult man had sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was conscious, alert, and speaking with officers and medics, and was taken in stable condition by Pittsburgh EMS to an area hospital.
The victim was uncooperative with officers and, at this time, a crime scene has still not been located.
