Five Scranton men were involved in an automobile accident at Falls Monday night when their car collided with the easterly approach to the bridge. Four men were rushed to the Pittston Hospital. Driver Michael Solancis was uninjured.
Hester Loftus was married Aug. 26 at the East Tioga Street home of her parents to Parker Dawes of Kingston, N.Y.
William Sterner, 72, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Steven Hartman, near Factoryvlle on Aug. 24.
David Rubin, of Wilkes-Barre, won the 880-yard dash at Lake Winola last Sunday afternoon. He announced that he will attempt to swim the English channel next summer.

The 19th Annual Harding Family Reunion was held at the Eaton Baptist Church on Wednesday, Aug. 18. President Frank S. Harding called the meeting to order after which Miss Florence Frear, of Beaumont, presided at the piano. The present officers were reelected for the seventh consecutive year.
