Asbury Woods will welcome families and Winnie the Pooh fans of all ages to its third annual Winnie the Pooh’s Asbury Adventure on September 19, 2026, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Andrew J. Conner Nature Center. This year’s event carries special significance as it coincides with the beloved bear’s 100th birthday celebration, bringing the magic of the Hundred Acre Wood to Erie for a morning of exploration, entertainment, and family fun.
Presented by Erie Insurance, the event will transform Asbury Woods’ 234-acre property into an interactive adventure filled with themed activity stations inspired by Winnie the Pooh and his friends. Families will be invited to learn, play, and discover nature while meeting life-size versions of their favorite characters.
A highlight of the event is Winnie the Pooh’s Whimsical Walk, where guests can journey through the woods and visit the homes of Pooh and his friends. Other attractions include Tigger’s Dance Party, featuring kid-friendly music and plenty of bouncing fun, and Piglet’s Bubble Adventure, where children can play in a bubble-filled wonderland.
Young visitors can also explore Owl’s Nest, a hands-on discovery center focused on learning about owls, and Rabbit’s Sensory Garden, an interactive space designed to encourage curiosity and playful exploration. Animal lovers will enjoy Eeyore’s Birthday Meadow, featuring gentle live donkeys dressed for the celebration with flower crowns and birthday hats.
Additional activities include Christopher Robin’s Scavenger Hunt, a storytelling and craft station where children can create birthday hats for Pooh, and Kanga and Roo’s Play Area, offering opportunities to climb, play, and make new friends. Guests can also enjoy the “Hiyapooh, Howdoyado!!” Variety Show, complete with sing-alongs and family entertainment.
Throughout the morning, attendees will have access to snack stations and a daylong basket raffle. Proceeds from the raffle will support Asbury Woods’ mission of connecting people with nature through education, recreation, and conservation programs.
Tickets are $25 per person and are required for adults and children over the age of two. Organizers encourage families to purchase tickets in advance through the Asbury Woods website.
Asbury Woods invites the community to celebrate a century of Winnie the Pooh with an unforgettable morning of imagination, outdoor adventure, and family-friendly fun in the woods.
