To thank local veterans for their service to our country, Geisinger hosted drive-through veteran appreciation dinners on Thursday, near many of its facilities, including Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. The dinners were distributed at Nay Aug Park at no cost to participants. Nick Coleman, associate vice president of clinical operations, helped at the distribution. “I really love what we do for our veterans,” he said. “It’s a very small thing we can do to give back.” Coleman expects Geisinger will give out 3,000 meals across the organization’s 12 pickup locations.
