Garbage truck overturns in multi-vehicle crash in Turtle Creek; at least 1 hospitalized
TURTLE CREEK, Pa. —
At least one person has been taken to a hospital after a crash involving a garbage truck and at least one other vehicle.
Firefighters and emergency responders are on Monroeville Avenue in Turtle Creek for a crash involving multiple vehicles.
Aerial video from Sky 4, Pittsburgh’s only news chopper, shows the garbage truck on its side, with its contents strewn across the road.
An SUV can be seen off the road and between a tree and a pole with a smashed front end. A third vehicle also appears to have been damaged in the crash.
Dispatchers confirmed to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that one person has been taken to the hospital.
It is unclear if anyone else has been injured or what led to the crash.
