An Easton man was sentenced to five years in a federal prison Thursday for possessing more than 10,000 child sexual assault images.
Wei Fu, 40, will be monitored for an additional five years after he’s released. He was indicted in March 2024 after investigators served a search warrant at his home and found images on his electronic devices of children being exploited.
“The images and videos included those showing the sexual assault of infants and toddlers,” federal officials said in a statement.
The Project Safe Childhood investigation was led by Homeland Security, Bethlehem Township police and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.
