ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WBEN)……For the first time in nearly one month, an Orchard Park private residence has sold for north of $1 million local residential real estate benchmark.
The deal marks the second time in as many days that a house in Erie County has sold for more than $1 million – which is considered a key economic indicator within the region’s residential real estate industry..
Earlier this week, a patio home in Marrano Home’s Greythorne community sold for $1.2 million.
And, with the two sales – Erie County is pacing towards a record of 109 homes, this year, selling for more than $1 million.
The latest sale – at 7 Woodcrest Drive – saw a four-bedroom house sell for $1.85 million.
The 10-room, 5,600-square-foot home was built in 1995.
With the deal, Orchard Park has 22 homes, this year, that sold for more than $1 million.
Last year, Orchard Park had 17 houses sell for more than $1 million.
Clarence leads all municipalities with 26 $1 million-plus home sales this year. Clarence had 30 $1 million-plus home sales last year.
