(WBRE/WYOU) — A former Scranton mayor is expected to become a free man on Wednesday after serving time for corruption. Bill Courtright’s supervision by federal authorities ends on Wednesday.
The Democrat pleaded guilty in 2019 to a shakedown scheme where authorities say he took money from companies that did business with the city.
