The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced the following maintenance operations scheduled for the week of Aug. 31 for roads maintained by the department in Erie County.
A pipe replacement on Route 89 in Concord Township will result in daytime closures to through traffic and a detour will be posted. Additionally, ditching will take place in Wayne Township on Route 426.
All work is weather dependent.
PennDOT crews at facilities throughout District 1, which includes Crawford, Erie, Forest, Mercer, Venango and Warren counties, complete a large scope of work on more than 3,600 miles of road throughout the year to help provide an efficient transportation system.
