Fans of the Erie SeaWolves now have the opportunity to secure their seats for potential postseason baseball as the club has officially placed 2026 playoff tickets on sale. The announcement comes as the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers continues its push toward another playoff appearance.
The SeaWolves currently hold a 6½-game lead in the Eastern League Southwest Division as the regular season enters its final weeks. If Erie qualifies, it would mark the franchise’s fifth consecutive postseason appearance and could bring up to two playoff games to UPMC Park.
All SeaWolves playoff games are presented by UPMC. According to the team, both the Eastern League Southwest Division Series and the Eastern League Championship Series will be played in a best-of-three format.
Should Erie capture the second-half playoff spot, the SeaWolves would open the division series at home against the Richmond Flying Squirrels on Tuesday, September15, at 6:35 p.m. at UPMC Park. Additional games in the series would be played in Richmond if necessary.
If the SeaWolves advance, they could host Game 1 of the Eastern League Championship Series on, September 20, at 5:05 p.m. before the remainder of the series shifts to the home field of the Northeast Division champion.
Single-game playoff tickets are priced at $20 for Lower Box seats and $17 for Upper Box seats. Fans can purchase tickets online here or at the UPMC Park ticket office. Special playoff ticket plans guaranteeing seats for both potential home playoff games start at $24.
The organization is also offering group outings for parties of 20 or more through its Group Sales Department. In the event the SeaWolves do not host a ticketed playoff game, fans may exchange unused tickets for any 2027 regular-season home game or request a refund by Oct. 2, 2026, subject to team policies.
Before any postseason action begins, Erie will close out its 2026 regular-season home schedule with a six-game series against the Somerset Patriots from September 1 until September 6 at UPMC Park.
