(WHTM) — Farmers in Pennsylvania could receive up to $15,000 from the state to help expand or diversify their operations.
“Pennsylvania farmers know how to grow crops and raise livestock, but growing a successful business takes planning,” Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding said. “These grants give farmers access to the expertise they need to make informed decisions about expanding their operations, diversifying income, or preparing the next generation to take the reins.”
The grants, dubbed Farm Vitality Planning Grants, are available through the Pennsylvania Farm Bill grant program and the Pennsylvania Agricultural Business Development Center is accepting applications now.
Grants can be combined with other PA Farm Bill funding.
