A 30-year-old Scranton man abused two young children, city police charge.
Jose Leon faces two felony charges of child endangerment and two misdemeanor assault charges. Police arrested him Friday.
The Special Victims Unit headed the dayslong investigation into the alleged crimes.
“The Scranton Police Department remains committed to protecting children and holding accountable anyone alleged to have caused them harm,” the department said in a news release.
Leon was arraigned Friday before District Judge Christopher J. Szewczyk. He remains free on an unsecured $20,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. on Sept. 11 before District Judge Szewczyk.
