LOWER MOUNT BETHEL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — One person is dead, and another was taken to the hospital following a two-motorcycle crash in Northampton County on Saturday afternoon.
State police say the collision happened around 5 p.m. near Route 611 and Ott Drive in Lower Mount Bethel Township.
One victim died at the scene, while the other was taken to a nearby hospital, authorities said. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
Pennsylvania State Police Belfast is investigating the cause of the crash.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of Route 611 remain closed, and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
