SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after drugs were found at a reentry facility in downtown Scranton.
Troopers responded to GEO Group-Reentry Services at 307 Adams Avenue after unattended drugs were discovered in a common area, according to a state police public information report.
The discovery was reported around 7:37 a.m. on August 25.
Police said the drugs were turned over to troopers. Investigators are working to determine who the drugs belonged to.
No arrests or charges were announced in the report, and police did not identify what type or quantity of drugs were recovered.
The investigation remains active.
