Deborah R. Lewis
OBITUARY
Deborah R. Lewis, 66, of Scranton, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at her home.
She is the widow of Robert S. Lewis, who passed away July 21, 2018.
Born July 25, 1960, in Scranton, she is the daughter of Elizabeth (Dundon) Kramer of Scranton and the late Paul Kramer.
Deborah was a graduate of Bishop Klonowski High School in Scranton. Deborah enjoyed a long career at the University of Scranton in the Developmental/Research Department. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Scranton.
She was also an active member of the Scranton running club and enjoyed participating in the Scranton Half Marathon every year, as well as various other races across the country.
She is survived by her daughter, Candice R. Lewis of Scranton; her sisters: Barbara Polster and husband Anthony of Scranton, and Cindy Walters and husband Bruce of Dalton; her grandchildren: Jackson and Aiden; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father and husband, Deborah was preceded in death by her son, Garett Lewis.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2026, at Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home, 401 Church Street, Moscow.
