Restoration work continues after water main break in Pittsburgh’s Shadyside
PITTSBURGH —
Pittsburgh Water Authority crews are working to make repairs following a leak on a private service line Sunday.

Officials first told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that crews were on the scene due to a 6-inch water main break along South Aiken Avenue around 10 a.m.
At the time of the first report, 33 customers were said to be impacted by the incident.
The Pittsburgh Water Authority later said that, after further investigation, the break was discovered to be a leak on a private service line.
As of 12:30 p.m., restoration work was still underway.
