Funeral services for Philip “Phil” L. Eason, 68, of Muscatine, formerly of Scranton, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the Scranton Community Building in Scranton. Burial will be in the Dillavou Cemetery near Scranton.
Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Scranton from 5 – 7 P.M. on Friday evening. The casket will be moved to the Scranton Community Building at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday where visitation will resume until 1:45 P.M. prior to the service.

Phil is survived by his wife Laurel “Laurie” of Muscatine; his children and their families: Joe Eason (Jen) of Port Washington, WI, Abbey Lochmoeller of Creston, and Amos Eason (Sarah) of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren: Sam Eason, Maddie Eason, Dylan Eason, Cadence Pierce, Joseph Lochmoeller, Micah Lochmoeller, Caleb Lochmoeller, and Warren Eason; a brother Perry Eason of Carroll; a sister Polly Eason of Carroll; a brother-in-law Steve Eberle of Boone; a sister-in-law Sara Hardy (Mike) of Des Moines; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
