Pennsylvania State Police at the Erie Station are investigating an animal cruelty incident involving the abandonment of four kittens in North East Township.
According to investigators, a white female suspect allegedly abandoned four black kittens near the pond on Hirtzel Road in Erie County. Troopers believe the suspect was driving a Kia Sorento at the time of the incident.
State police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual involved. Anyone with information related to the case is encouraged to contact PSP Erie at (814)898-1641 and ask to speak with Trooper Eller.
Tips can also be submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police Tips line at 1-800-472-8477 or online through the PSP tip portal.
Authorities noted that individuals who provide information through PSP Tips may be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest, helps solve a crime or cold case, or assists in locating a wanted fugitive or missing person.
