Make a Difference Monday: HDSA Team Hope Walk in Lehigh Co. supports families facing Huntington’s disease | Make A Difference Monday

U. SAUCON TWP., Pa. – Huntington’s disease is a genetic mutation that breaks down nerve cells in the brain leading to cognitive decline.

It affects a person’s movements, thinking ability, and mental health.

Currently, no treatment can cure or stop the fatal disease.

The Huntington’s Disease Society of America will host a Team Hope walk to support the families that are affected by the disease.

Money raised will go toward research while spreading hope for a cure.

The walk will be on September 12th at the Hopewell Park Pavilion in Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County.

It will start at 9:00 a.m. and registration is free.
