The chicken barbecue committee of St. Carlo Acutis Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant, gathered recently to finalize plans. The chicken BBQ will take place Sunday, Sept. 13, from 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. in the church parking lot on Delaware Street, Olyphant. The dinner, at $12, includes half a chicken, scalloped potatoes, green beans and dessert. There will also be a basket raffle, a bake sale, a cash raffle, children’s games and music by John Quinn.
