Guidelight’s virtual hybrid program expands
Guidelight Health, a hybrid intermediate care provider, has expanded its adult virtual program to include Colorado, Massachusetts and North Carolina now.
The company’s virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) will provide more than three hours of programming, four days a week, with daytime and evening options. The service will include group therapy, individual therapy and medication management.
”Whether someone lives in the heart of Boston or an hour outside it with no clinic nearby, they deserve the same standard of care — and now they can get it,” Dr. Andy Cruz, co-founder and Chief Medical Officer at Guidelight, said in a statement. “Group therapy is central to how our clients heal, and we’ve built our virtual platform so that connection doesn’t get lost on a screen — clients still show up for each other, still get seen by our clinicians in real time, still do the hard work of recovery alongside people who understand it.”
The provider plans on extending its virtual programming to include partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) in the future.
Thriveworks expands psychiatric offerings
Thriveworks, one of the largest outpatient mental health providers in the country, is expanding its in-person psychiatry services to five New Jersey locations.
The new services, which include psychiatry, medication management and talk therapy, will be available at clinics in Paramus, Cherry Hill, Edison, Toms River and Red Bank, New Jersey.
“For too long, trying to access psychiatric care in New Jersey has meant long waitlists, steep out-of-pocket costs or just going without,” Dr. Dan Frogel, CEO of Thrieworks, said in a statement. “When the new regulations came into effect, we knew even more people would be left without access to the medications they need to function at their best, so leveraging our existing footprint in the state, we were able to operationalize quickly to set up in-person psychiatry. We’re proud to offer New Jersey residents with a pathway for fast, high-quality psychiatry services that are covered by most of the state’s major insurance providers.”
Thriveworks has 340 offices and 2,200+ clinicians across the United States.
