The War Memorial is located next to the Warren County Court House, 413 Second St., at the corner of Second and Mansfield streets. This combined program will feature the presentation of the Warren County Distinguished Military Service medal to veterans who served during wartime. It will also include a proclamation acknowledging National Veterans and Military Families Month, the playing of service songs, and the presentation of a Quilt of Valor. The Bethlehem Morning Star Rotary Club will host its 21st annual “Salute the Troops” concert, featuring the renowned Allentown Band. This event will celebrate veterans and active-duty members through stirring, familiar patriotic music. LVHN Veterans Day Ceremony

Lehigh Valley Health Network will host a special Veterans Day ceremony to honor community members and colleagues who served in the Armed Forces. The event will take place on Monday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. in Educational Conference Rooms 6, 7, and 8 in the Kasych Family Pavilion at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township. St. Luke’s Veterans Day Recognition

Harry F.W. Johnson American Legion Post 379 will be leading a flag raising in front of the St. Luke’s University Health Network campus in Fountain Hill at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10. The public is welcome. The flag raising will be followed by a free breakfast for veterans in the hospital cafeteria.

Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11

Finally, the official Veterans Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11 will be marked by several formal ceremonies in the Easton vicinity.

Easton Veterans Day Ceremony

The Joint Veterans Council Forks of the Delaware will hold a ceremony at 10:30 a.m. This solemn gathering is scheduled to take place in the Memorial Grove at Upper Hackett Park off Hackett Avenue.

Williams Township Veterans Day Ceremony

A short time later, Williams Township will host its own ceremony to honor veterans at 11 a.m. The event will be held at 655 Cider Press Road.

Wilson Borough Veterans Day Parade

In the afternoon on Veterans Day, the Marine Corps League and the Brown & Lynch American Legion Post No. 9 will host a parade. The event will begin at 1 p.m. The parade will step off at the Civil War cannon on South 17th and Washington streets in Wilson Borough and will conclude on Warrior Lane at Wilson Area High School. The high school marching band is slated to participate in the procession.
