Have you and your kids been reading books this summer? So much great literacy-related news has been happening here in Pittsburgh all summer long, and we’re excited to keep the reading going (and growing) throughout the fall.
To help make that happen, we’re extending the Jerome Bettis Summer Reading Challenge to make sure kids who have been reading but didn’t know about the Challenge can enter. We’re also rewarding those who submit their form by the original deadline of midnight tonight (Aug. 31).
We made this decision because we’re hearing from schools that students want more time to fill out the form and get it submitted here. So…
If you get your Jerome Bettis Summer Reading Challenge form submitted to us by midnight tonight, you’ve already earned a gift. (Be on the lookout for a surprise in the mail from Kidsburgh!)
And if your child still needs to read a few more books or spend a few more hours reading (or being read to), you now have until midnight on Sept. 30 to be entered in the drawing for four tickets to the Oct. 11 Steelers home game against the Indianapolis Colts.
